also you should learn that all those tools these DAW's use exist in real life and you should learn what they do and how they work
learning like this is the best way because you gain general understanding of everything and not just "lol lemme see this yutub tutorial how this dud did skillrex bass and I will just copy everything"

Yeah I got a few weird looks BUT IT WAS TASTY OKAY.
I was hoping to look at all the youtube stuff I can, and then try to dick around in it, putting the stuff to practice. Rince repeat until' I feel confident enough to start making some of my own sounds.
I think it makes it a bit easier that I have an electronic drumset and a USB keyboard by my side, so most of the stuff I can play in RL (That's a bit more comfortable for me)
