That's the reason I quit playing the damn thing. Rather play games where if you lose, it's your own damn fault (not to say League doesn't have those moments, but it's annoying as hell to play your best for 40+ minutes, and then have one person start playing like shit/feeding/etc and send all that work to hell).

Ehhhhhh... That says something doesn't it? That one champion is broken to the point of being banned out the ass. Bans should be something the team leader does in response to what their team doesn't want to face, not to keep a single broken as shit champ out.

That's what I'm saying. Shouldn't be a common one. Each team captain should have a unique way of playing the game.

Let's say one guy plays a mean top champ (not sure of the counters, so making one up off the top of my head), but let's say Olaf counters his best champ HARD. The team leader is pretty much obligated to tell the one guy to stuff it as he bans Shen, Darius, and Blitz. All in interest of making the team win, of course.

Of course, this is only an issue in team ranked, I suppose. Can't really tell what your teammates are good at otherwise.
