If that was the case, then all the animals would have immediately ran off to find Fluttershy when RD suddenly took over her job, the Apples would have tracked down AJ before the farm was screwed, and the town wouldn't have been caught in a scene from 2012 with the weather killing them all at Rarity's whim. Na, the spell changed more than just their own memories.

Well, I just got the best laugh ever:

Not necessarily. AJ was still, technically, an Apple. They didn't change physically (well, outside of their marks), just professionally/mentally. She most likely had "that Apple pony that doesn't work on the Apple farm. The poor dear makes dresses for a living" as her official family title.

Not at first. Even Angel didn't catch on that he liked her until she fed them and they were all "Oh, she so nice! She give us food! I'mma hug that pony." And, yes, that's how Angel thinks in my headcanon.

To be honest....I have never used that spell yet.
My friends all told me it's absolutely terrible-ish and that I should get it last, so either the games ended before that or I just completely forgot about it.
