Pretty much why I laughed my ass off at the suggestion. May be a relatively new DM, but I know a bad design when I see one.

Though the random dungeon generator did tip me off to something that is missing in my campaign: dragons, and actual dungeon crawls themselves.

Yeah, progressing the story is good, but sometimes it feels damn good to just go into a cave, tear the place up, and come back richer than hell.

I like undead. Especially in cramped crypts.

Normally there are only two people when one goes into a dark damp place.

Eh... I'd say give it a level or two. But it could be done one day.

Then again, doesn't really have to be a vampire though. There are other things that are wealthy and use undead.

My favorite character ever is still my psychotic little Chaotic-Neutral Gnome mage though. Think it was 3.5 rules, too.




Really suffered from DBZ-syndrome though. He'd spend like, four or five turns charging, then unleash a fireball big enough to destroy the target, everything nearby the target, and a substantial chunk of the terrain around the target.

Skeletons are used much less than they should be. I find the complete lack of them befuddling.
