Nyx is an OC pony from a particular fanfic, which I don't remember the name to. Valcron made her quite famous by making the cover to the story and putting her into a few comics.

I've always been in favor of increasing penalties, including making it easier to get the death penalty.

Intentional murder = automatic death penalty. No negotiations, no reduced sentencing, no nothing. Defense gets one year from sentencing to prove innocence. Will there be accidental executions? At first, yes. Give it a few years (like maybe a decade), and the accidental ones will dramatically reduce as few people would be willing to take the risk.

Negligent murder (accidental) = time in prison

People who use drugs are no longer eligible for prison time and instead face heavy fees that increase with each charge (would open up a shit ton of prison space in the country.) Not talking like drug lords or dealers. Talking about people who get caught doing meth or heroine or that shit.
