I'm just a sorceress. I need to get past him so I can use dark magic, and invade low levels and be a dick and stuff.

But I literally can't beat him. I have Crown of Dusk and the spell increase ring, along with the tin-crystal thingy scepter, and my magic missiles hit him for fucking 80.

My soul spears drop him pretty well, but I only have two, and usually I'm dead before I throw out one. He one-shots me with every attack besides his slam dunk, and that drops me to 10% health.

If you can wield the Greatshield of Artorias, he cannot break that guard no matter what

Can you get the other ring that gives you extra casts? I mean if you get one shotted, you might as well halve your health to get more casts.

I have never played a straight up caster.
All I can say is be super patient with the openings he gives. I know he gives very few.

I can't kill Bert and Ernie in ng+ because their jumping around drops me to single digit fps

I can really see how you could be frustrated by low fps in a videogame
