In my opinion is Diablo 3 WAY prettier, Torchlight 2 is rather ugly, the effects are nice though.
BUT Torchlight has WAY better game play. Which isn't really hard, as D3 has no character development at all, besides those glyph thingies, while in Torchlight you can actually decide which stats and skills you want to upgrade and get.

So...I wouldn't call it "just as good". :3

Yeah, Diablo 3 defiantly has the prettiness covered. Every zone was very appealing. But the full online requirement, gold spammers (IN DIABLO), dull game-play and so on. It was defiantly a massive let-down for a Blizzard game.

It's basically a WW2 strategy game that got outstanding reviews and is still hailed as a classic. Honestly, I just recommend you check it out. Cost me like $2.50 on a Steam sale, and you'd probably like it more than the dozen other people I gave it to.

Well, as a fan of RTS's, that game is amazing. World War 2 might've been done to death, but not in the RTS. Despite being made in 2005, it's graphics really hold up on Ultra.
