I found the ending of the episode somewhat funny, with Twilight flying off toward the screen. It's like the cardinal sin when it comes with people changing their body in MLP fanfics (mostly haveing to do with humans changing to ponies) that they then immediatley know how to use said new body.

It only helps cement my theory that several of the writers are getting pointers from fanfic writers... It totally explains the royal wedding episode....

Most shows just skip them learning to use their new powers. Look at Sailor Moon or Power Rangers. They get to blow shit up or control 8 story mechs and know how to do it without even a 10 second montage.

It is a classic trope of television.

Usually anything that can cc plus any decent damage character is a strong lane combo. That's why Blitzcrank + anyone is a good combo.
