Thistle Tea Price

Hey guys,

I apologize for my earlier post selling my thistle tea recipe, I didn't realize it was against the rules to sell here.

I would however, like to find out what a fair asking price for this recipe is. Could anyone shed some light? I've had inquiries on other forums and really don't know where to start, I see prices for years past from 100k to 900k (recent) and it just seems to be all over the place.

Have any of you purchased and/or sold this before?

EDIT: I'd also like to know what the appeal to acquiring this is, just to have everything?

According to wowheads averaged number: 500k (what it is posted for, not sold for)

However, it really depends on your server and the person who wants it. Reading the comments it looks like more people buy it for around 25k-50k.

Back in vanilla there was a quest to get the recipe for ANYONE as it was a trade-able pattern. Then Blizzard made it offered to rogue's only, but old patterns could still be traded.

For people that want to be 100% cooking, if you don't make a rogue it's impossible without that pattern (well, Chimerok too but that's more common).

Right. REading up on the subject i now understand why. At first i didnt understand why. I could've sworn i had a recipe stuffed away on my old rogue somewhere and would've loved a lesser fortune in a snip.
