And I don't fear technology, I just don't... Understand it. Being very, very poor I grew up without anything but the necessities. Father bought a computer in 2003, and that's since been ze only technology I be very acquainted with. Rest was considered luxury. Now I get super super frustrated because technology now a days is so small and tougher to operate for us who aren't very used to them. Only phone I've had was one that was made before I was born.

I think pretty much every city got hit. London took the worst, Coventry and Manchester took big beatings and I'd be very surprised if Bristol didn't get its fair share.

I'd say Utah and Idaho are a lot alike. Since they are neighboring states.

Yeah, they are quite similar as far as Winters and Summers go though where I'm currently living in Utah we do get a bit of Humidity coming off Utah Lake(I'm maybe 5 miles north of it) during the Summer which doesn't help much and then there the stench of god knows what(smells something like a landfill crossed with a sewage collection plant times ten) that comes off it every few years.

I'm from Minnesota, up here people are always joking about how in in the Southern US, Texas, California, and Florida especially, if you get any snow at all practically the entire system shuts down; is that true?

What is the best and worst thing about Texas Hastings?

Worst: It's hot as fuck here during the summer (I've seen my garage get up to 52ºC, and outside even though the base temp might not be 37ºC, it feels around 40ºC-45ºC because of the humidity), and in the Houston area where I live, I regularly see humidity at 100% during the summer, especially in August. That and the fact that it's a very socially conservative state.

Best: To me, I love the look of wide open countryside underneath a bright blue sky during the summer (And winter sometimes, but it likes to rain a lot in the winter), the people here are very nice, and in general I like the atmosphere and culture here (Minus the social conservative/religious part, but most people actually keep that to themselves unless it gets brought up somehow, so it's not like the stereotype of everyone running around with a bible telling everyone to go be saved).

Oddities: Our weather is super random, it can be rainy and cold one hour, and be super hot the next, basically we joke about the weather here always changing (Because it seems to do so).

Yes it's completely true lol, it snowed about 1-3 inches here back a few years ago during midday, and Houston basically shut down, I got to get out of school early as well hehe. I've seen it snow three times here in the past 10 years, which is apparently record breaking for Houston.

Right now the temperature is around 7ºC-10ºC, winter ftw......(I want snow dangit...)

On Bristol: I love it, I'm originally from Cambridge which is a huge student city and very relaxed. Bristol is where my wife's from (who I met on WoW and have 2 children with haha) and we have a great work/life balance. It's the 6th or 7th largest city in the UK and I can get across it on bicycle in an hour. It is a cycling city as well which makes it easy to commute. We all love cider here (I've had WoW friends from Iceland and all over Europe love it) and we're famous for our Engineers, Graffiti and Slave Trade ties - although the last is questionable historically.

On Snow: I expect no schools to be open here tomorrow and no trains haha - we're expecting 10cms of snow here so I expect the country to go to buggery!

Bristol did get bombed in WW2 because it had an airport, alongside Liverpool was 1 of the few open - now closed, new 1 open.

First was an N64 that came with Mario Kart. We (my 3 siblings at the time and I) loved it.

I always thought Bristol was more bombed for the port than anything. Spent the first 4 years of my life there. <3 Bristol.
