You know what's hurting this game? The $25 transfer fee

The $25 transfer fee is fine, what there needs to be is some sort of way to bulk transfer multiple characters at once for a discounted price.

Blizzard had a free faction change to a more popular server i think because they had a lack of horde..

Yeah i know that, i just want to transfer all my characters for a set price rather than wasting 25x9 for them all.

Plus its Blizzards fault for doing this. They should only use the free server change if they want to kill a server (there are like thousands of it) otherwise if they want to fix a faction, then they should reduce the price for faction change and give them a bonus for it but only a limited amount.

But i am actually supporting this because it breaks peoples addiction to this game.

Agreed. My guild transferd to a new server a few months ago and even how much it sucks to have all my alts left on my old server I'm never going to pay $75 to transfer them to my new server.

They should make it free and just have a cooldown where u cant transfer again for 30 days.

They need a way to move multiple characters from one server to another that is cheaper than hundreds and hundreds of dollars.

i think 25 is too much, 10 would be okay and somewhat acceptable. they make enough money with their mounts,pets,monthly....

I agree, it's excessive and fairly obvious it's only there to milk as much cash as possible from subscribers. It will never change, either.

Discussions like this are rather pointless, it's like asking why pharmaceutical companies charge such exorbitant amounts of money for cheap to manufacture drugs. They spent a few million on research and development 30-40 years ago and feel they deserve quarterly profits in the billions until the end of time for doing so.

All we can sadly hope for is being able to migrate a pack of characters for a cheaper price. And it will propably never happen unless people ragequit this game over migrating.

I will just state again that are plenty of other ways to exploit dead servers to. Dont need to migrate for this to work. So dont fear that that would happen.

AH bots, buying/selling on neutral AH, snip-bots on neutral AH...and whatnot else we've heard about for years.

I would love if Blizzard would close down servers atleast, its pathetic how they have so many realms that barely has any players on them.

A true libertarian would believe in let the market dictate what the price would be, and it is the individual's responsibility to find a way to pay he 25. Perhaps MMO Champ will offer a free name change to socialist
