t mog restriction changes 5.2?

I have a paladin....

Im wanting to know if blizzard will release the class restrictions on transmoging gear.

I want the t10 (blue) DK gear for my pally... and was wondering if any one has seen anything about this being possible in 5.2

The only restriction change is that all weapons sharing animations will be moggable into each other. Within reason; I think staves are not transmoggable into anything else.

Gonna go ahead and say that what you're suggesting will never happen. You can quote me on it, I don't care. The technology required to let you even purchase the gear would have to be rewritten. I'm more interested in whether or not I can transmog my staff into a polearm as a priest. You're supposed to be able to equip the item in order to transmog it, but now staves and polearms are interchangeable, and that interaction hasn't been confirmed yet.

I doubt they will ever let people transmog other classes armor. Closest you will get it trying to get random raid drops that simply "look" like the tier sets.

It's just to bad, the only plate hood is the DK one.

I really don't like the druid sets for my feral druid, would love to wear the set that drops from BWL.

Staves share animations with Polearms, and thus can be transmogged to them.
