Is heirlooms much harder to get in mop

I don't know about you guys but it seems like you don't get much VP and JP in raids and dungeons anymore. Being casual player I cant max out vp cap in one week which doesn't bother me but it seems like it harder to buy heirloom in mop unless I'm missing something :P

Just want to make a new char but not getting a lot of JP like you used to in cata

In 5.2 you will be overflowing with JP as you will get 3-400 each heroic you run.

OT: Heirlooms are nice but they are just a luxury. They shouldn't stop from making a new character you want to
make. Yet I do thing that in wrath they were the cheapest. Just a tip though: If you want the pants/helm you
can start leveling a character and have them join a lvl 25 guild that has those achievements (many leveling guilds
do on my server) and in 20 lvls or so you have the reputation to buy them for the guild vendor.

Um... the way I earn JP is simply just doing bgs getting honour and converting into JP. It never got harder. :P

5.2 will give 100 Jp each hc boss you kill so it's gonna be faster.

Until I decided to finally start lvling my dk, I kept him twinked at 85. Cata dungeons and heroics are still giving 150 for the first and 60 for everyone after and heroic bosses give like 85 jp per, AND if people are still queuing for LFR DS then there's a crapton more jp there. Not sure about DS LFR... last time i tried queuing for one i waited over an hour with no luck on Bonechewer-US. Doing this I was able to finish getting 5 heirloom peices, one being the agi staff, in about a week.

Ok thank you guys i did think converting honor into JP i was just checking. I hope 5.2 is soon :P

Don't forget the darkmoon faire, you can get one heirloom for each character you do it on( artifacts, quests etc) each month, maybe even a weapon if you're diligent. There's also the argent tournament. This is how i got most of my heirlooms. Other than that the head, leg, and back are ofc from gold from guild vendor. This way you can even get them if you're on a new server and you're only level 15.

And as others have mentioned, justice points aren't very useful in mop so heirlooms are a good way to spend them.

I read that in patch 5.2 they will be upgraded to 85 level.
Does it mean that currently bought heirlooms will be updated from 80 till 85, or will have to buy new ones?

You have to "upgrade" your current ones. So first you buy a lvl 80 heirloom with JP, and then you buy the lvl 85 heirloom with the old heirloom and extra JP.

You can get heirloom gear with honor points. Not sure why you would waste converting them from honor to JP.
