I remember Deltrus was below me at one point, then we evened out, then he went what I like to call "I must get this title" mode (not the first time he's done that) and went way over.
In any case, GL to you all for finding out your mysterious new titles...MMO-C has become a living breathing entity free of WoW. I daresay a fair chunk of it's users have long since quit the game (I quit back in Sep 2012) and continue to hang around for the community
Also I can take out my tantrums on this site by saying "fuck" a whole lot and not getting infracted for harsh language :P

Careful outside of Fun-stuff though. I've had a mod give me a nose-slapping for that and they said to quit with the f-word. Done deal that was.

And yeah, I think it was well over a year ago when you were ahead of me. :P I mean damn, I hit 7,000 last March. O_o

I started posting in September 2011, when I began my postgraduate program. It's mostly research so I spent a lot of time procrastinating working very, very, very hard at a computer...

I've been here for quite a while. After quitting WoW though most of my posts have been in Fun Stuff, that could probably double my post count alone.

If it helps, my first avatar I remember having was one of the deathwings from "draw deathwing with your eyes closed". Then the pony thread showed up one random day I was bored browsing Fun Stuff, that's when I swapped avatars.

Has anyone else had the problem where people completely forget who you are after an avatar/sig change?

Of course, we instinctively identify people by their avatars without even knowing it. Images stick better than words, it's far quicker to glance at the avatar and know who is posting.
E.g. if you and me swapped avatars and signatures right now, it sure as hell would confuse a lot of people :P

Oh wow, I remember when this happened. If memory serves, I had something like a week with whichever title I got before I was promoted to moderator and lost it all for such a long time -_-

I've had avatars not Taeyeon before but all my avatars since I first put on an avatar have been members of Girls' Generation
