Poll: Which one?

What hard drive should I get

Everything on my computer is fairly new as I built it around when mists came out, but I used the hard drives from my previous computer; there were 2 and are both from 2005 and one of them failed 2 months ago which is making me nervous about the one I have left. Should I get a new hard drive or get an external hard drive? The current hard drive I have is a Western Digital WD2500KS-00MJB0 and as external hard drives go I was looking at this

Should I get a new internal hard drive, external drive, or some combination of both?
    What kind should I get?
I am trying to keep it at $100 or less.

I'd personally suggest an internal at this point. If the final internal goes and you only have a USB HDD, things will be abysmally slow. I suggest buying a high quality 1-2TB 7200RPM (Samsung SpinPoint F3 or WD Caviar Blue/Black) and then saving up for an external if you feel you need it or maybe another HDD/SSD.
