    Amber Shaper Un'sok N phase 3

one quick question about the boss, we seem to be constantly running out of amber pools in phase three at roughy 35%, we usually push the boss to phase 2 before the 3rd reshape life, would it be an idea to extend phase 1 and killing some more ambers in that phase? or will it hurt on the enrage too much?

Are you using any of the amber pools in phase 2?

If so, don't. Just keep breaking players out as you did in phase 1 and you should have plenty by the time the Monstrosity dies

we have players consumer a pool once for every transformation, it seemed to make phase 2 go smoother

That's why you're running out of pools. Each time a person is picked they will only have to interrupt the big add once. Eating extra pools is just more dmg away from the adds.

Also if you're running out of pools you can always slow down in p1 to get a few more.

The enrage isn't really an issue, so as long as your healers won't go oom from an extra minute of phase 1 you can drag it out. I know guilds who wait for 5 scalpels to push phase 2, just to make sure they have enough, and on heroic we wait for the fourth reshape life to push the phase.

Thats your problem then, just leave all the pools until phase 3 (or when the monstrosity is almost dead)

We ignore the Monstrosity's explosion and just rotate healing cooldowns through them. That way the transformed players just have to worry about their own explosion.

we've just been having problems with wierd timers, so we had to extend the time in the amber shaper, to actually be able to interrupt

If you're running out, just let P1 go on for ages. There didn't seem to be any real enrage timer to worry about. We even did about 6 transforms in P1 with no downside other than we didn't need that many and boredom.

Once we got P2 down, P3 went within 2 tries.

We do also completely ignore them. The only thing that could happen is that you have a shitty timer to kick the monstrosity. But if you have Raid CDs and if you only have the AoE from the monstrosity it is not THAT bad.
