Using bonus more then once on a same boss

Some of my guildies run certain LFRs more then once to increase the chance of loot by using bonus roll.

Now I'm wondering, does bonus roll still has a chance to give you an item if you use it the second time on a LFR you've already killed by running the raid again or not?

I know that you get "loot locked" once you killed a boss in LFR - you can't get any more "normal" drops from that boss. But I've always been under an impression that the bonus roll, if used the second time, will give you only gold, not an item any more...

Can someone please clarify this for me ^^

You can continue to use coins for chances at loot. Blue confirmed/commented on it awhile back.
