25m H Amber Shaper -- How to keep stacks on monstrosity?

My guild has put about 3-4 hours of attempts into H Amber Shaper so far. We're usually getting to around 20% on the monstrosity before some sort of issues occur (Generally someone screwing up an interrupt).

Our strategy is having 3 tanks, 1 stay in the construct the whole time and whose main goal is to keep stacks on the boss at all times. As long as we get to P3 the boss is going to have between 45-60 stacks on him. Because we have the permanent construct focusing on the boss we have every other construct on the monstrosity for stacks and interrupting.

This strat will work fine for us to kill it if everything goes smoothly, but P2 is taking a long time due to us losing stacks on the monstrosity. Does anyone have any tips on how to keep stacks up, or if it's even necessary?

The tank in the construct have to stack Amber Strike on both boss and monstruosity

Have the tank staying inside the construct spend 100% of p2 on the Monstrosity, keeping stacks up and interrupting its cast (plus his own), then have the other people that get put into constructs keep stacks up on the boss during p2 and eating 1 pool each so they last long enough for the next person to get put in so stacks don't drop off.

P2 time really doesn't matter as long as you kill the monstrosity 20-30 seconds before enrage and you don't need spare pools left over for p3 since he dies before anyone will run out of energy.

Thanks for the reply, I like this idea since the main reason we can't keep stacks on the monstrosity is people getting in and out of constructs. One question though, we go into P2 with the boss around 15 stacks or so and a Reshape happens right before we transition to P2 every time (3 reshapes). This means we have another 20s or so until the next reshape and if the tank got on the monstrosity right away the ~15 stacks on the boss would certainly drop. Do you wait for when a reshape is about to happen and then push so this doesnt happen? We could also just have the tank switch to the monstrosity when the next reshape life goes out which wouldn't be that big of a deal, we'd just lose 3-4 beginning stacks on it.

The way we do this fight is similar to yours, with a small change that makes the fight extremely easy.

We have our third tank stay on the boss 100% of the time.

The people who get reshaped need to kick themselves, kick the monstrosity, and the key difference, eat ONE pool. This gives each person enough time to stack 1-2 more amber strikes, thus allowing the stacks to chain between reshapes.

Assuming your dps is pretty good, realistically you will only need 3 people chaining stacks, with the fourth person stacking the boss further and staying in the vehicle for the remainder of the fight.

How many scalpels do you guys end up doing in phase 1?

Lust during phase 2 is the easiest way to go IMO

phase 2 - kill 2 transforms, lust burn monstrosity before the 3rd reshape

I've included links to our strategy and kill video below:

Here's how we do it and have been able to repeat it for a few weeks.

We use a three tank approach, where one tank will be permanent construct in Phase 2. For Phase 1, we do four Reshape Life phases, where the first three constructs will eat at most one pool. This ensures there are enough pools for the construct tank in Phase 2. Whoever is the construct during the fourth Reshape Life will be the construct in Phase 2. DPS may need to hold off to get the 4th Reshape Life.

In Phase 2, we have the construct tank focus 100% on debuffing the boss. The raid will worry about the Monstrosity. We actually use our Bloodlust after the first Amber Explosion interrupt, while the DPS/healer construct tries to put as many stacks of the debuff on the Monstrosity as possible. We've seen it go as high as 7 stacks, which is a good amount of DPS during Bloodlust. You should be able to get the Monstrosity down shortly after the 4th Amber Explosion. We did notice that the explosion may happen before the next Reshape Life during the 3rd and 4th explosions. The raid can survive an Amber Explosion as long as you have a combination of Devotion Aura, Rallying Cry, and Demoralizing Banner (or personal cooldowns).

Phase 3 will go by very quickly as long as the construct tank kept the debuff up. Anywhere between 50-60 stacks is very good, and the boss will go down in less than a minute, as long as the raid moves out for the Amber Globules.

You don't need to carry over the stacks on the boss, having around 20 is more than enough for the last phase. The way we have done the boss is to stack on the monstrosity in the start of phase two and interrupt two (three if low raid dps) explosions, during this time the boss stacks from phase one will drop. After the second explosion, we stack on the boss and stop interrupting the monstrosity. We have raid cooldowns ready for three explosions, with some offspec healing cooldowns just before to top the raid. Normally, the explosions wont drop the raid below 30-40% and depending on the amount of cooldown you use, the explosion can hit for as little as 100k.

Just make sure to have everyone eat 4 pools so you don't get over run by adds, and of course interrupt your own casts.

Just do it like us, super easy. Very boring though.

Here's without a doubt the easiest way to do this boss. First off, forget and ignore everyone who pushes the boss immediately as soon as the 4th amber scalpel happens, 5% health off the boss is utterly pointless in p3.

In P1, have each tank interrupt all of their explosions and eat 1 pool. This gives them enough time to stack 8 debuffs on the boss, meaning by the 4th reshape you'll have 24 stacks on the boss. Now here's the important part, after the 4th amber scalpel wait about 20 seconds so that there's 33-20 seconds left until the next Reshape Life. THEN push the boss into p2 (sub 70.5% health)

In P2 your tank will put 1 stack on the monstrosity, one stack on the boss. Rinse repeat, stacks will never drop on either. (Debuff has a 6 sec CD and lasts 15 seconds, there's a small window of opportunity to eat pools or interrupt yourself, make sure the tank is near the next debuff target as the strike comes available to use.) DPS/Healers that get MCed NEVER eat a pool. Get them to 30% health and let dots/cleave carry them down to 20. You will have time to interrupt 5 casts of the bosses explosion without having to eat any pools or have a tank interrupt them.

In P3 Burn the boss, he'll have 40ish stacks that will build up rapidly as a couple more people get MCed.

if you have competent raiders they dont need to eat an additional pool to keep their stack up on the monstrosity before they have to jump, it should work out every time that on their third explosion, they quickly redo their stack then jump out before they explode to prevent it from finishing the cast, by that time the next reshape life should go out soon enough for the next person in the monstrosity to keep up the stack. the tank should only ever have to refresh the stack if the additional monstrosity guy messes it up

You can survive in the construct for 36 seconds without eating any pools, and reshapes happen every 50 seconds. The only way this would be true is if you had incredibly amazing RNG (if that's even possible) with the raid stacked up on top of the monstrosity, and good luck with that. This statement just isnt true.
