I would say it in a over excited middle aged womans voice: AAAAAWWW aren't you an ugly fucker

While I normally always speak my mind, I would never call someone else's baby ugly. I don't want to be that guy that's raining down on the baby parade.

My cousin and his wife had a really ugly baby a couple of years ago. I never said a word about it.

Yes. A lot of babies are hideous. I'm an honest kind of guy, and, in memory of George Carlin i'll "best a little honest about what you see, tell the truth".

This, pretty much. Never found babies to be cute.

What good could ever come out of calling someones baby ugly?
What is the underlining point of that?

So you find someones baby to be ugly, what of it?

Bolded the word that you apparently missed.Your physical appearance is by and large out of our control but clearly changes as you age.

I wouldn't tell anyone they look ugly. That's not a thing that can be changed. I would make a comment about hair or clothing style. But not looks that you can't change. Especially babies'. All newborns are ugly, or at least most of them. But that changes quickly :3

No, but if they know me, they know that I do not find babies cute. Ever.

My sister's baby was born with a square head...and I told her it looked like one of the Munsters. Funny I don't talk to my sister much these days

There is a long way from not being cute, to being ugly.

No. There's absolutely no reason to do that. What are they going to do with that information? Nothing.

The only thing it accomplishes is making a proud parent feel bad.
When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these?! Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!

If I know the person well enough that they know I'm not saying it with malice, yes. Otherwise, I just don't bother because that's one can of worms I do not want to open.

If you think the second picture shows and ugly baby, you ain't seen ugly, baby!

There are babies that look like the little alien getting out of that dude. Would I tell someone that? No, because they already know. It's like telling someone in a wheelchair that they can't walk.

Thats not really true though, A lot of parents find their own children beautiful! They don't always lie. People have diffrent opinions of what is pretty and what is not.
While you can't have a diffrent opinion on a person who has been proven not being able to walk.

I'd never dare to. That's just obnoxious. Who am I to tell a young and happy couple that their child is ugly in my eyes? That's just hurtful and accomplishes exactly nothing – especially when you're supposed to be friends. Clearly a 'No' for me. I'd just be polite and try to change the topic quickly.

It's not about caring or not. When someone asks you something are you going to lie or tell the truth.

No baby is pretty, you just say that they are pretty to make the person happy.

Insults aside, can you actually explain what is wrong with that ? Basically, the idea is "It's not about your baby, I'm just not a baby person, if you will". Which I can't find any problem with. Is that a symptom for a mental disorder of some kind, or is hypocrisy so prevalent as to be the norm here ?

Why would I go out of my way to directly offend somebody when I could so easily not say anything?
