i really find some opinions here in this thread very brutal and weird.
I only could guess that these posters are very young preteen, with really bad iq , bad education, alcohole addictive parents and have a very strong non-social and trashy background. I cannot see how a non ill-minded person could write something like has been written here over a desperate person. Labile people may commit suicide for lesser reasons.
In my country, not helping someone who is about to die (even if u dont know how serious it really is), is a crime.

Not being actively concerned/worried, because you don't know her and/or because you don't think she'll actually do it is one thing (even if I'd find it a bit cold), but if you don't even think it's unfortunate then yes I'd say you have some problems.

what is it with kids and suicide these days. It's crazy... I wouldn't have an opinion on it. If I saw her about to hang herself i'd save her, like any good man or woman would but i'd escort the girl home personally and be having words with her parents about it. Nobody should be throwing there lives away over a few pictures...

Exactly. I agree and i have seen this so many times. They make a mistake and probably many more before that with pictures then get caught and dont want to take any responsibility for it so they go emo and talk suicide. Reminds me of the march yesterday to ban assault rifles, never seen so much ignorance in one place.

7th grade... assuming you start school at 6, like here, that means she was 13. So not yet mature enough, so a mistake in this situation is understandable. I wouldn't even blame the parents, since if she did it just on impulse or the boy asked for pics and she complied they couldn't have known, in the end you can't watch your children 24/7.

Now, even though you saw cropped pictures, you don't know if there's full pictures of her nude. And even if there are not, something like this makes everyone look at her weird and make jokes on her and treat her like dirt, thus ruining her time while at school. So I can understand why she was thinking of suicide, expecially with the hormones at that age and stuff amplifying every emotion.

Now, are you emotionless for not caring if she might commit suicide? yes. yes you are. Right now she needs help to pass over this issue, but there's people who don't offer it, like you, because they don't care about another human, and then there's worse people, people who make fun on her over it, which are even worse. And if this continues, she might actually do it. Now, even though you lack empathy in this case though, it's somewhat understandable because you're still like... 16(I presume you're in 10th grade too)? So you can't fully understand the issue. So there's hope for you. However for those at your school and in this thread who say it's good she's going to kill herself or something... there's no hope at all. They are part of what is still bad with society today.

Generalization of people who dont agree with your views or agenda is the biggest ignorance of them all. People need to take responsibility for their kids and teach them better it isnt the worlds job to babysit peoples kids, we already support the majority of them who had kids they couldnt afford.

Many people don't care unless it's involves themselves or if this person is a very close friend/best friend. You're like the hundreds of others in that school. I don't plan on having a wife or kids actually; marriage is kind of dumb. I didn't make any mistakes that I regret. I also never cried wolf with suicide to get attention.

Strange enough though, my signature isn't entirely accurate. I wouldn't sacrifice my friends for profit. I'm actually incredibly loyal to people that I care for.

Good question. Because every human life counts and this is not a person who has decided, in full maturity and thought, that she doesn't want to live anymore, but rather she's a person that is still not fully mature and is pushed by others into this decision, others who treat her like dirt over a decision she made when she was even smaller and more immature, when she was a child.

If you don't feel bad or wouldn't want to at least try and help her... then you're a horrible human being. It doesn't matter that "shit like this happens to thousands of people every single day". You can't help every single one of that thousand people... but the OP can help this girl. Even if only with a suggestion like "stay strong, don't let the jerks get to you" or something or a kind word or even trying to convince others to stop showing her pictures around if he doesn't want to talk to her at least he can talk with his friends and stop them from distributing the pictures. And why should the OP act in this case when there are thousands of people like that every single day? Because he can. Because he can help someone get better. If this doesn't mean anything to you, you're a one of the most selfish persons there are, rotten to the core.

Brutal maybe but I fail to see how you can make an assumption about someones IQ, education, or parental upbringing because they opt not to empathize for a girl who is obviously wanting attention. Makes me wonder on your IQ or lack of education to be so gullible and easy to manipulate.
