Agree with the OP, atleast wow community WAS better back inn vanilla and TBC. You also socialised ALLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT more, mainly cause you had no other option. You wanted to know the cool people to pug 5 mans with etc.
I do not hate wow. I'm just (was) very passionated about it. There is a difference. Everyone rants about thing's they think changed badly.

Yeah I don't believe the OP's assessment. Used to play leagues for other shooter games, like Team Fortress...there was copious amounts of shit talking and nasty rivalries. I don't know if I would call it immature, it was more like sports teams...like a game between the Raiders and 49ers.
