Turning into a giant demon while wielding 6 2handers.
Hmm... Could be interesting, means we would be able to see some combinations that I would have loved.
- Combat Mage (Wielding A sword and a staff. Relying on fast spells, as slow spell casting would leave one open for attacks)
- Templar (We already have been through first and second stage, Priest/Warr -> Paladin - But we need to sheer power as a templar can bring into the world, so Paladin+Warrior = Templar, a knight of the light, being the front sword for the people. Mastering defensive and offensive spells, wielding only light healing spells (Or something like that, really Blizzards offer of a Templar was a Paladin, but they aren't on the same pillar))
I would mix a restoration shaman with a restoration druid, just because ...
"Skill, as the world of warcraft goes, is only in question between equals in pvp power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must."
Thucydides : " The Melian dialogue".
Hunter+rogue. Because there needs to be the ultimate OP class.
Can we have a shadowy frost warrior and just ban all the other classes from pvp?
Ashes to ashes, fade and rust, your mind be broken, your body to dust
...and now we come to the equipment.
Four item-slots plate, four for cloth armor.
I'm already drawing a Warrior/Mage in my head: cloth cowl and a long Robe with Plate shoulders, Legplates, Gaunlets and Sabattons. Hm just like the Death Knight starting equipment.
Full Frost Mage/DK would be my choice.
"Jormag, Kralkatoric and Primordus have disliked this video."
Maybe this can be done on a separate server type where it wouldn't have any implications on pvp/core gameplay etc whatsoever people can role their just for fun.
Just a pve only server with lagged access to current tier so heavy tuning isn't needed. This is very much possible with restrictions tbh
I've seen a much better concept design long ago on the european foruns.
Remember this link was posted before MoP was anounced, so it as a lot of problems with current gameplay...
At this time, instead of the 3 groups of 4 classes, i would make just 2 groups, leather and cloth classes to one side, and plate and mail to the other side.
I would also lock stupid combinations that make no sense at all, such as warrior+mage, just because they require completly stats, warriors use attack power, and mages uses spell power... The effect of this kind of combination would be the one of being naked (or 100% gear damaged) for one of the combined classes. For agility and strenght combinations its much less dramatic, the only real diference would be the way they produce attack power.
This would be very awesome. I'm thinking warrior/rogue would be pretty awesome. A warrior that can stealth! Also, remember the battle mages from Strat? They dual wielded with a staff in one hand and a sword in the other. They had a pretty good melee hit and could also do things like arcane explosions. I picture a mage/warrior as being kinda like that.
I don't see how Blizzard could possibly implement this though. It'd be a ton of work, and class balance would be beyond impossible. Unless there were some separate PvE only server like the poster above me mentioned (also seems somewhat unlikely as something Blizzard would want to do), I couldn't see it happening.
