About to cap 3000 valor points and I'm not sure what to upgrade next. I have my main hand and relic of xuen already upgraded and I'm left with LFR Shinka on my off hand and LFR Lei Shen which I do not really want to waste points on. It could be soon that I get normal Shinka and Lei Shen but due to RNG there's never any guarantee. Should I just upgrade the helm which I think I won't be replacing soon?
Weapons give the highest value/valor, while trinkets are generally second highest. It therefore depends on whether you want the most instant gain or long term value. Personally I've chosen to keep upgrading weapons as I get them since I want to give the raid the highest possible gain from the VP while progressing through HC's, even though the weapons might get upgraded again sooner or later (which has netted me like 3k VP used on items i no longer wear or so this far). Rng is a big factor, so it could well be a month before you find new weapons
