Alliance race advice?

Hi guys, im thinking of xferring my Hordey to Alliance and im curious whether to choose Dreanei or Human?

Why? Why not?

What class? Also are you mostly pvp focused or pve? Do you rep grind? Big into rp? All these play a factor but if your just asking off the cuff no lore no abilities I guess on a coin flip Draenei.

Personally, I would go for human. Their rep bonus is pretty nice.
And their expertise with various weapons also can come in handy.
Plus and that is the big factor for me personally, I think plategear just looks good on a human.

Though, a Draenei Protection Warrior is probably not a bad choice. All the racials are actually very attractive as a Warrior in the PvE side of things.

But human offers a bit of versatility, and that is my preference.

Human, expertise with swords/maces, free pvp trinket, reputationbonus.

Human is the best one overall, draenei might be slightly better for strictly PvE but only when not using swords/maces and maybe if you'd need a HoT sometime.

Pvp, human wins by far and casual stuff like +rep is really nice.

Dwarf warrior is a good choice too, with the Stone Form racial and Mace Expertise increase, that and they look cool in plate

I know, Stone Form is useless if you're a dps and bonus expertise with maces sucks during 5.0.

Worgen is clearly the best race for dd pve warr. 1% free crit plus Darkflight easily make worgen the best dps-wise.
For tank - dwarf or draenei are probably slightly better than the others (speaking of survivability).

And the top pvp race (overall, not just alliance) is human (of course). Extra trinket is unbeatable.

Still my personal advice is: Play the race you like, racials are not that important. I play gnome and I'm proud of it.

Gnomes can also get a pretty sweet 2h lightsaber model in a race-specific quest. It's not fair.

OT: Human probably is the best overall choice, especially since you mentioned pvp. The males probably look better in armor, the females get that 1h weapon scaling issue where they look positively gigantic. However, if you want "Dem Shoulders", the correct answer is male Draenei. Baller.

Best answer - human.
Wrong answer - none. Warriors are fun.

Neither offer good racials for PVE. Humans have the best PVP racial in the game. Orcs have the best PVE, and alliance have the 2nd best in Worgen. If you aren't going worgen, it won't matter.

Night Elf is best for any tank. 2% nonDR dodge is unbeatable. DPS I would say go Worgen. PvP Human. Easy Peasy.

I don't know, I like being able to trinket out of certain boss mechanics and a weapon specialization/reputation bonus or mini enraged regen is far from useless

But your definition of "PvE" is "Endgame Raiding" and you prefer what gets you the most DPS. That is fine and dandy. But I personally like Blood Elf and Human Warriors, because they are versatile. Even the Undead racial is pretty good now, Dwarves can clear bleeds and mini defensive cd, Night Elves have the ability to become invisible and an additional 1% miss chance, Goblins have rocket boost or rockets for damage, etc.

You cannot pick a "bad" race for your Warrior. No matter what race you pick, it will never be as useless as a Blood Elf Hunter.

Well, I actually think that Tauren are a terrible choice for Warriors. But only because Warstomp DRs with Shockwave. But if you use it intelligently, you can make it work.

Pandas is gonna be the best for future tiers PVE DPS wise due to STR is gonna get better than crit when you got more crit from gear.

Between Human and Tail wagging pyscho...hmmm , You enjoy both pve/pvp and soloing , then Tail wagger all the way , hit is nice and the healing that draenei get comes in very very handy in the most unusual of places xD

Doubt that. In order for Pandas to be better than worgens, Str would have to have twice the value of Crit, while possible, thats only if you then use purely 300 statfood - While obviously thats possible, lets assume most people use the 275, wich inturn makes Worgens even better. Having 275 Str ever beating out 600 crit, is something i dont see happening.
