Yeah...that happened. But it doesn't mean the home owner had the right and won't be prosecuted...guns kill people daily, and guess what, even sometimes "accidentally".
And like stated before, where are all the stories of responsible gun owners?
Marriage should be open to any couples, regardless of gender, for equality and fairness' sake.
"Then we have found, as it seems, that the many beliefs of the many about what's fair and about the other things roll around somewhere between not-being and being purely and simply." - Plato: Republic
Version 1: "Rolled down his window to say sorry"
Version 2: "He perceived the car going towards his house, towards him."
Basically, once the lawyers/spin doctors are called in, we may never know what actually happened. It's as entirely likely that Sailors was a pissed old drunk dude who shot an innocent kid as it is that the kid rolled down his window to flip the bird which looked like pointing a weapon to the Vietnam vet.
Like licking a Tootsie Pop, the world may never know.
Sheesh, at least point your gun and threaten them first if you're that convinced the potential intruder might be armed.
If it wasn't accidentally and he was actually trying to rob/murder/something and the old man ended dead, thread would be like "Georgia man killed by guy who faked having accidentally pulled into his driveway" and we would be discussing at how naive was the old man as he simply believed the driver was just mistaken, how society sucks because of that, WoW is dying, etc.

Rolling down your window while backing out in and of itself it not a threatening act outside of paranoid idiot land.\
