I sure hope this is a serious post. Otherwise it would qualify as trolling.

Well, I'd say check at what's happening in-game to have an accurate representation. Looking up info on guild progression in general would give us a better pitcure. Still, I'm certainly not convinced it's as bad as OP makes it out to be.

Not to mention that while Blizz are sometimes pig-headed, they won't shoot themselves in the foot like that just to "cause a surprise", as OP seems to suggest.

Guys, it's just speculation, calm down.

Qualify as trolling? Do people even know what trolling is these days now? It seems like everything is 'trolling' nowadays. You don't agree, fine, but saying that it's trolling? Get your head out of your asses and if you don't like it than don't have to be an idiot over it.

Well I haven't seen furniture go flying yet, so I'd assume people are generally calm.

Clearly shows 37,457 10-man guilds have killed Stone guard on normal mode, whereas only 3190 25-man guild have killed it. Conclusion 374,570 players play 10 man and 79750 players play 25 man, looks pretty clear 5:1 ratio to me.

I hope it's some cross-realm stuff, like mailing and server merging.

That being said, I would love for them to include Raid-level Dungeons like UBRS as new Scenarios. Three people is a bit short to really accomplish much in terms of story telling, but imagine if you had a group of people. All of sudden, you can participate in total war or raids led by NPCs to connect the player with the lore characters that much more.

They would not go to such an extent as the Thunderforged idea if they were going to remove 25 man.

    Very interesting.

To be fair, though, after Wotlk, Blizz tried to cater to 10-man enthusiasts who claimed bigger rewards from 25 "killed" 10-man raiding. That didn't help.

Then, cross-realm raiding came in, defeating the purpose of looking for people from your own server for your guild. While that didn't help either, we're not counting people using Openraid to do 25's. Not sure how many there are, but this could become a popular option down the road.

But essentially, perks of 10-man raiding "kill" 25-man raiding, and vice versa. But hey, you can't have the bun and the penny.

When it comes to raid sizes I'd kinda like 5man raiding. Small, solid group of friends. But anyway, sadly 25mans are staying for now, despite them falling apart as soon as they don't get extra everything.

Anyway, I'm expecting something related to the iLevel scaling system they now have. Do old raids scaled to an appropriate iLevel? yessiiiir

Maybe they will up the stakes and put another 40 man raid back in

One thing is certain, and that is that 40mans will never return.

Why would the new big feature be the removal of something? Am I missing something or are you trying to start a pointless discussion?

I would agree, but only as a toggle-able option. I like to steamroll old content either for fun or to powerlevel people. With a toggle, we keep everyone happy.

No. That would be the removal of a big feature not the addition of one. They wouldn't be looking at ways to make people want to raid 25mans if they were just going to take it away.

Chances are its something like, New player models, Player housing, ect..

  19. #59
Honestly the dumbest post ive seen, 5 man raiding- thats called a dungeon. 1 man raiding- thats called questing. 25 man Removed? Why because they litterly just buffed 25 man raiding with more thunder forged drops to increase the amount of guilds that make 25 man groups? Please just don't make threads again.

I would say this has a much better chance of being the unannounced feature than them removing 25-mans.

And honestly, 1 and 5 man raids? Aren't those called "quests" and "dungeons"?
