    [Movies] Your childhood movie?

The movie you saw as a child that you will never forget, that inspired you, gave you creative ideas and dreams, or a movie that revolved around your childhood. Mine was The Goonies, Home Alone, and Harriet the Spy (yes i wanted to become a spy after the movie)

Aladdin and the Lion King are the two movies which I most fondly remember. I'm excluding those 15-30 minute cartoons of the list.
Non-Animation movies which I remember are Home Alone and Little Rascals

Oh, this one is tough. I have 3 movies that I vividly remember loving as a child. Jurassic Park, Lion King, and Homeward Bound. I do know I loved a lot of other movies as well, but those 3 are the ones that stick out the most in my mind. I don't think I could ever choose just one as being the most defining movie of my childhood.

Any horse related movie was a fave as a kid.

Pharlap, Black Stallion, Black Beauty and so on.
But... there was this one movie I watched when I was very young. It was based
in Australia and was about 2 young children and a pony. The girl was in a wheelchair and
was the daughter of the wealthiest man in the county, the boy was a poor kid whom I can't
remember much else about. The story was basically both kids found this wild pony and claimed it
as their own, there was a "contest" in the town square with the pony and the 2 kids. The child
that the pony went to was the "owner". I must've watched it 20 times by the time I was 8-9 and
it just stuck with me all these years... "Be true to yourself and Life will work out the way it's supposed to"
is the lesson I took from it. I googled it awhile back to find the name but never had any success.

Also, though not a movie... I have very fond memories of watching Miami Vice with my dad on friday nites
while we ate Old Dutch Rippled Chips and drank coke, BUT NOT NEW COKE because it's not real coke!
(i'm showing my age but yea, new coke xD)
And eight, eight, I forget what eight was for

The Dark Crystal or The Black Hole...was usually a coin flip for me which one I would want to watch over and over as a kid depending on my mood.

Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter movies and Lord of the Rings (even though I found the last one a bit boring at a time and only started to like it later)
