H Will of emperor - use strength to soak rage

Has anyone have any success with using strength to soak rage? We are 5/6h msv and 1/6h hof. Our raid grp does not setup does not have excellent rage soaker as shown below:

    Tanks:
    Prot warrior
    guardian druid

    Healers:
    H paladin
    Restore druid

    Dps:

    Warlock
    Mage
    Fury Warrior
    Shadow priest
    Hunter
    Elemental shaman

Doesn't work, only Jan-xi and Qin-xi kill sparks that touch them.

The resto druid (symbiosis the hunter for deterence) the shadowpriest the hunter the mage and the warlock can all soak, you can make it work just fine.

But as stated above only the bosses can soak the sparks up.

You have a hunter (deter), spriest (disperse), resto druid (deter) and hpally (bubble). What more do you need?

seeing as this is 10man, the enrage timer should allow for you to just kill the sparks that spawn from rages. You also have a heavy ranged based setup as well, so it's probably even more viable than when we did it.

I, as warlock, am soaking all courages. First one using Dark Bargain, second one using Shadow Bulwark (sacrificing the blueperry) + Unending Resolve. No problems at all, just have to be sure that you've full hp before soaking with using SB + UR. So yes, warlock can soak those too.
Quitting WoW is very similar to quitting smoking.

Easier then most people think, the hard part is not coming back a few weeks later.

    2 rages - Hunter
    1 strength - a tank
    2 rages - SP
    1 courage - a tank

    1 strength - Mage
    2 rages - SP
    1 courage - Lock
    1 strength - Resto Druid
    2 rages - Hunter

(~1:15 with no add spawns) Hero time

    2 rages - Hunter
    1 strength - Mage
    2 rages - SP
    1 courage - Lock
    1 strength - Resto druid
    2 rages - Hunter

    Abilitys:
    SP, Dispersion
Resto Druid, Deterrance from Symbiosis on hunter
    Hunter, Deterrance
    Lock, Dark Bargain

I can't recall 100% if the Dark Bargain cd will be up for each Courage, but you should have mage as backup with iceblock, and later the paladin has bubble back up too.

Does it trigger on mages when they are already inside the iceblock? Otherwise I fear the timing will be pretty rough.

your group in fact has excellent rage soakers.

h paladin, warlock, mage, shadow priest, hunter, resto druid (symbiosis on hunter), all those can soak rages. your holy paladin should spec unbreakable spirit too, so he can soak more often.

If your warrior goes prot, he can soak every strength too with shield barrier (I believe, not 100% sure)

This. Have someone bring their alt rogue and it's a joke, he can soak 95% of them alone without cooldowns.

How? Sorry but I'm not too familiar with rogues defensives cd, thought they only had a 2min cd for cloak of shadows...

By "95% of them without CDs" he means using feint on everything single one (which counts as a cooldown as its a defensive ability)

Yea, a 0 second cooldown that costs a little energy is definitely a cooldown.

Make your mage sack up, he can soak on a 15 second cd with blink as long as he has reasonable latency.
