Trinket Proc Question.

I recently set up Weak Aura's to show me when Bottle and Relic pop. My question is this: Are you delaying major abilites to wait for procs. Or are you just chugging along waiting for RNG. Just so I'm clear, I don't mean waiting for extended periods of time (i.e 20 +secs).

My gear is solid and I feel I should be pushing out more DPS. We are into heroics but here is a basic single target fight.

You can probably see minor gains by doing it with major cooldowns like BW, but only if you are delaying in the range of 5-10 seconds, max. And if you do it often enough that it pushes your CD usage in a way where you push a final BW past the ending of a fight (when it could have been during the fight) it's almost certainly a net loss. Add on to the fact that if juggling all those timers and what to delay /etc. causes any interruption to the flow of your ability usage or your focus on boss mechanics, you'll again end up in the negative from trying to do it. IMO, it's largely not worth it, unless you are in a guild that is no longer progressing and your sole purpose is to shoot for full BiS and rank.

Edit: you mention your uptime on SS is less than ideal. I can't actually look at it now, but if you think it's not good enough, it probably isn't. Those are the kinds of things you should be focusing on, not lining up ICD's perfectly with other CDs. Get the basics down first and then worry about the fine tuning.

Your dps is fine, but your over all action time is so low. Is there some reason you only had 58% action time? That is for sure why your damage done was lower than it should have been.

Here is my Spirit kings kill, look at the difference between my actions and yours. You did more dps, but your over all damage was much lower. Fix that and you are set, not sure about your other fights, but that's what was happening this fight.

I never hesitate to pop my CDs. Chances are with the ICDs of your trinkets, you'd have to be lucky for them to line up and if they do it might not be the entire duration. Both of his trinkets never lined up with BW throughout the fight after the start.

I popped BW whenever it was off of CD and my H bottle only lined up with my BW twice that fight after the start. My H TiTM only lined up with one BW after the start and those weren't full duration uptime with BW.

I wouldn't modify your rotation around your trinkets, I'd just do your normal rotation and if your trinkets proc then that's a bonus.

You should really set up an ICD manager to monitor the ICDs of your trinkets rather than just showing whenever they are up.
