We have somewhat high expectations to our players. While we like to take it chill and not go super hardcore, we do keep the quality somewhat high. Quality>Quantity.
We raid 3-4 times a week, from 20-24 GMT.
We've had a rough start with MoP, due to several of our core players having to quit the game, but we're slowly starting to get back on track.
What we expect from you:
Activity; we keep a strictly 10 player team, as we find it better on a personal relation level. Also we then avoid player swapping related drama. It is therefore very important to have high attendance to our raids. We do, however, totally understand that there is a life outside of video games, and that a raid is likely to be skipped every so often.
Dedication; it is important to us that you are dedicated to achieveing the goals we set as a group. That means being awake and being able to perform during raid. But also prepareing for the actual raid, by reading up on hints for the comming encounter, for example.
Wanting to play; most important of everything is wanting to play the actual game. If you're really wanting to play the game, the two above sections should be obvious.
What to expect from us:
A very friendly enviroment (assumeing you pull your weight, of course, otherwise theres hell to pay!)
A place to sit back and enjoy yourselves after a long day at work or school.
Some of the top notch players from the server. We have players who have been amongst the top teams on the server.
The lack of progress is not due to player capability, but the fact that we simply did not have 10 people for about two months.
A little guild history:
The raiding team was formed at cataclysm release, by a bunch of ingame friends, who have now been playing together for more than four years. A mix of two guilds, a top 25man alliance guild at that time, and a bunch of core players from a very casual guild. Unfortunately the one guild, Discipline, disbanded and we decided to form a 10man team with very high potential, when cata was released. We ninja'd some top notch players from the casual guild, who wanted some more quality in their raids, but with the same amount of time spent.
The team started out very well, as predicted, with a couple of server first heroic 10man kills despite of rather big competition. Unfortunately Cataclysm did not bring much joy to a few key players, and they decided to quit. Leaving us with recruitment trouble, which we did not really recover from for the rest of the expansion. We did, however, still get the 3rd alliance 10man kill on HC Deathwing, with a few close tries on 10% and then the 15% buff pushing over the kill. After a few clears we decided to break for Cataclysm.
A month or so before the MoP release we gathered again, and found some new blood. We started out well with clearing the normal modes the first week, and then dogs and feng the next. Unfortunately, once again we had someone quit the game. And we were unable to recruit for about 2-3 months.
We have now found the right people, to get back on track. But once again, two people are having to quit. One for school reasons, and another is going to be a parent, meaning he can not play fulltime for quite a while.
