Raid lock out 10/25 and Heroic question

    Hi,

I am thinking about converting my 10 man heroic group (10/16H) into a 25 man, but most of my raiders are not confortable with losing progression time to a new 25 man. I was planing to use one of our 3 days to do a 25 man (clearing some MsV heroic boss, rest on normal, clearing some boss in Normal HoF)

I know its impossible to switch from 25H to 10H in the same week
But i know its possible to kill 1-2 boss on heroic 10 then switch to 25 normal

I am wondering if its possible to kill 3-4 boss on Normal 25 man and then switch it to 10H for the 5th boss in the same instance (so we will not lose progression)

anyone know if its possible to kill 4 boss on Normal 25 man then switch to 10H for the 5th?

    Thats fine. too.

    Basically:

Heroics work on a lockout system. If you are locked to that specific mode you cannot swap.

Normals you can swap between, this is what was introduced with Cata.

So Normal --> Heroic is fine.
