Irans new stealth plane

Iran recently took the wraps off its Qaher-313 "new super modern fighter plane," seen here nose-on. The quality of the aircraft shown in these pictures is leading some observers to wonder if Iran is playing a joke on the rest of the world. This plane is almost certainly a mock-up, because if it's not—well, look, I can only assume that the country employs at least one aerospace engineer, right? This has to be a joke, right?

Any aviation experts here with an opinion? It looks way too small to fly, and why is the writing in English? Real thing or just a big bluff?

I'm not an AeroE, but I have common sense; there's no way the propulsion and aeronautics systems necessary for that type of aircraft to fit in something so small.

there was something on yahoo the other day about this (take that source as you will, lol), claiming engineers "debunked" iran's claims of the aircraft. they cited lack of cockpit space, something about lack of engine cowls (they said a jet would melt itself without them). it was also said that vids were of a small rc plane, made to look like an actual jet. im no expert on this shit either, so idk.

also the room the plane is stored in has no doors suitable for the aircraft to exit.

There are several pages of comments on the linked page. It seems pretty clearly to be a mockup of some sort, for what purpose I'm not sure. It's like any number of concept cars you see at one of the big auto shows like in Detroit. You get some guy doing anything he wants with external styling, but it's all made out of wire and fiberglass with no drive train or functioning interior.

Sure it does, it looks like the pictures were taken in a hangar. The reverse angle shows the door.

It's probably real on paper (though that is likely a prototype/model) but that doesn't mean it's any good or even works as intended.

It appears to be a mash up of many pieces of civilian aircraft modified for use of certain weapon systems. If that thing is legitimate it's akin to home projectile in comparison to a Beretta m9 and I wouldn't be surprised if its capability had been inflated.
