    Tips for our Resto Druid

As a dps i dont really know much about healing in MoP since i didnt touch my healer alt yet
    anyway
ive talk with her about it and she agree that with her ilvl she could push a little more but shes not sure on "what to change"
she seem to struggle alot on Tsulong. I do realise thats its not a resto druid friendly fight
anyway if you guys could take the time to watch her logs and armory it would be really appreciated
We just switched to 25m so here some logs fromm last night

May be different between 10 and 25 but my ilevel is 14 below hers (480ish) and I pull 95k HPS on Tsulong on 10 normal. I'm healing with another resto druid and a shammy so nobody is sniping my heals.

For Tsulong just some tips: -Innervate during night phase, you get mana back during day phase.
-Use tranq during night phase when its needed.
-Use ToL during day phase and put 1 LB on every target to proc OOC to use on instant regrowths on Tsulong.
-Get NS and make a NS+HT macro to heal Tsulong right after the breath (this can crit for over 1 million healing). If you use this on the first breath, you can do it again on the 4th breath.
-Spam more healing, mana is not really an issue with the innervate every night phase and breath giving mana back during day phase.

Not great at reading WoL so that's all the assistance I can give really. Though on your protectors, she's at 50k. I pull that in 480ish ilevel so at 493 she should be slightly higher. But again, difference between 10/25 and different healer setup.

    Just looking at Tsulong:

She is at a disadvantage using Tranq on breaths, imo. She has to sit there and channel, losing the ability to cast anything else, and 70% of it ends of overhealing, according to the log. I realize that the tranq buff on tsulong helps all the rest of the heals so this may be a situation where she has to take on for the team, so to speak. Using tranq during night, were it wont overheal so much, and being able to cast direct heals on tsulong for all the breaths will help her personal hps by a lot.

For the Day Phase breaths, she seems to be using Healing touch as the main nuke. For me, glyphed regrowth has worked a lot better. She should also try to squeeze an empowered rejuv in on Tsulong as well. She seems to be using the big CDs well, and using a NS+HT whenever possible during breaths. I personally dont cast Swiftmend on Tsulong, but that is an option, as well as "hardcasting" a LB refresh during the breath, but you are running low on GCDs by that point. She could also switch talents to SOTF and use it to buff a Rejuv during the breath, but she would have to lose tree form, and the increase isnt huge.

Lastly 43% uptime on LB is really not very good, and Im not sure why it would be that low, since she is glyphed for it.

edit: as for protectors...its not that challenging to heal, and a few healers are sitting 40% and above total overheals, so you shouldnt be worrying about output too much from that, especially with a blood dk and two shadow priests doing fairly significant off-healing anyways. At any rate, her total raw healing was 3rd for that fight, and I would consider that respectable

For more of the math behind this http://healiocentric.wordpress.com/2...id-strategies/

TL,DR: My Recommended Druid Healing Strategy

Talents: NS, SotF, HotW (normal)/NV (Heroic)
Glyphs: Glyph of Blooming, Glyph of Regrowth, (Glyph of Healing Touch – if you lack 4-piece t14)

Between breaths: Get 3xLB up, refresh it with 4 sec to Sun Breath cast; keep Rejuvenation rolling (but do not overwrite a Bathed-in-Light-boosted Rejuv); use Swiftmend as soon as it comes off cooldown, then hold it ’til the next Sun Breath; cast Healing Touch unless you have Omen of Clarity/Clearcasting, in which case cast Regrowth.

During breaths: Swiftmend, Rejuvenation, Regrowth, Regrowth, Wild Growth or NS/HT; allow LB to bloom

Also make sure she keeps in mind that all of her dots are effected by the breath but need to be casted during breath. Once she has put all the dots on tsulong she needs to make sure she lets them run their course and not refresh them. I always let my "breathed" lifebloom on tsulong bloom so i get the most out of druid heals.

The bloom from the lifebloom won't do extra healing unless it's bloomed while you still have the bathed in light buff, hence why Royalite above linked to a post saying to use Glyph of Blooming and refresh LB 4 seconds before Sun Breath.

Thanks guys! I was having a bit of trouble with this fight but using some of your tactics really helped.
