    [H] Midnight 10M | 6/6 HM MSV | 3/6 HM HoF

    Mission Statement
Our goal is to be one of the premier guilds on Mal'Ganis and spend less time doing so than everyone else. We believe what takes other guilds four or five days a week and 20+ hours to accomplish should only take three days a week and 12 hours with the right people. Getting those right people is the difference between where we are now and where we want to be. Midnight is built around people who look forward to logging on to play with each other and expect this to be their last home before someday retiring from WoW. We want players who work well as a team, think for themselves when necessary, and turn a bad situation into a win. Being great at your class and at raiding is a must, but beyond that, fitting in with the guild and getting along well with existing members is extremely important.

    Recruiting

We're currently recruiting competent, raid aware, and knowledgeable DPS. We are flexible with the class and spec and are mostly searching for highly skilled players.

As for specifics we're currently looking for:
    - One healer (priest, monk, or shaman)
    - One ranged DPS (not a shaman)

We are always open to exceptional players with substantial raiding experience of any class, even if not listed above. Also, regardless of needs, we do not have room for players who spend hours re-learning basic concepts with each new boss, such as not standing in the 201st iteration of "fire" or "ring of death"!

The more you have to offer us the more we will be interested in you. If you are someone who is flexible and can play multiple specs and roles you will have a much higher priority than say a Priest who can only play or is only willing to play as Shadow.

    History of Midnight
Midnight began in early 2005 to fill a need on the Horde side of US-Suramar. There were no active, organized PvE raiding guilds at the time, so Midnight was formed. Our focus has always been endgame PvE. We strive to maintain a fun and enjoyable, but serious when necessary, raid environment.

In TBC, Midnight took a commanding lead in server progress, culminating in clearing Sunwell while maintaining a three day per week, three hour per day raid schedule. This nine hour per week raid schedule featured killing M'uru before the first 10% hitpoint nerf. We raided fewer hours than all other guilds of similar progression and tried to make the time we spend raiding count.

In WOTLK we obtained all but one server first to 80, leading to server firsts of all 3.0 content. We were the only guild on Suramar (our old server) to obtain 25 man Glory of the Raider drake rewards. We cleared Ulduar 10 and 25 in the first week of release, and Trial of the Champion 10 and 25 bosses on their release days.

    Raid Information
Our 10 man raid runs Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 7:30 - 11:00 CST (server time).
We aim to keep ~13 people on our 10man raid roster so some sitting will be involved. EVERYONE sits, if you are not OK with this do not apply. We also do not recruit for the bench and expect everyone to be able to contribute frequently and effectively at all times.

We expect our raiders to make the full duration of all of our raids and to not be chronically late or absent. However, we do understand that real life happens and everyone will have to miss or be late to a raid from time to time. We just ask that this is a rare occurrence and does not develop into a regular habit. If you do have to miss, you must let Atrocity or Catastrophe know ASAP via a forum post, text message, or some other method. People who routinely miss or are late to raids during their trial period will have their applications quickly denied.

We expect that our raiders will devote their full attention to the raid, especially during progression on new bosses. Once again, we understand real life happens and sometimes distractions will be inevitable. We just ask that you are not constantly distracted by things around you, such as watching TV. We love to talk about damn near everything under the sun but during the few hours per week that we raid we ask that it is put on hold and the primary topic of discussion shift to things relevant to killing the next boss.

Once again, we know that real life happens and we are more than willing to accommodate your schedule, within reason. If you have a huge exam/presentation/whatever the following day and would prefer to sit out so you can further prepare unless you are absolutely needed we will be sympathetic to your situation.

Repairs, flasks, and feasts are provided to our raiders. We ask that you maintain a number of relevant potions for attempts on new bosses, particularly those with tight enrage timers.

Loot is decided amongst those interested in the item, with decision making falling in the hands of the raid leader only if absolutely necessary (hopefully extremely rarely). It is expected you will be able to talk out such matters like a civilized adult, such as "that ring is a huge upgrade for you but only a marginal one for me, how about you take that and I'll take the first pair of boots we both want" and "I've looted an item off the past four bosses, I'll pass." Loot drama will not be tolerated in any way; the item will most likely drop again, and if it doesn't it really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things - you can use that as a justification for looting something earlier in the next tier of content.

We're very close to killing Heroic Amber Shaper and a few skilled additions to our roster would result in a quick victory on this boss as well as others.
