basically, World of Warcraft (and other games) is filled to the brim with mechanics explained in tooltips and such. but some players can and will misunderstand them. this is about how to misinterpret mechanics, where a player reads an explanation in a tooltip or on the website or a guide, and understands it different from the developers intentions, which usually means they fail horribly at the game. or invent an entirely new way of playing the class, in some cases.
