    Pandaren enemies

Why is there no enemy pandaren faction or pandaren thieves or pandaren that worship old gods or other enemies? Even the ' holy, noble' draenei had Auchenai and there are many draenei worshippers of many cults. Why must the pandaren be so perfect even though there is nothing to cause this?

I guess you missed the part where the continent would go INSANE with the Sha if people show the smallest portion of ''doubt'' or any kind of bad emotion. Example : that little village before Krassarang, some ppl are depresed the whole place goes insane. The Sha and only the Sha is the reason why the pandaren are the way they are. Even the Sha do pan the most badass and trained of Pandaren, also fall into the corruption of them. Pandaria is cursed, if people dont behave, the contienent goes to ruin. It only shows that they know better than us
    Good job Horde and Alliance.

The Mists protected Pandaria from outside influences. It's likely the burning legion doesn't even know the pandarens exist yet. Makes it hard to form cults.

The only Old God worshipers on the continent are the Mantid. They weren't interested in making converts, only killing.

Basically, the 4 animal gods are the only game in town for the pandaren. Hence, the pandaren have a mostly uniform culture.

Also, the pandarens were prosperous until we arrived. This would tend to limit the shenanigans people get up to when they have a bright future to look forward too. I think most members of the cult of the damned and demon cults lived miserable lives of back-breaking labor in poverty.

    We do fight pandaren.

We just don't fight a massive cult of evil pandaren, and frankly, not every race needs an evil cult variation.

The way I see it, pandaren that go down that path are very susceptible to Sha possession. Thus, they tend to keep to themselves. The pandaren rare elites in every zone are examples, as well as the player's rival in the Krasarang August Celestials quests, or the entire Shado-Pan Monastery during the 5-man. The Jade Witch is another that comes to mind.

Pandaren rares = wayward monks looking to either let the Sha overtake them or seek vengeance on us outlanders. Draenei underwent severe traumatic upheaval as a result of the Orcish genocide campaign against them, so that is why such dark cults exist. Pandaren have not had such trauma.

Indeed. Each of the seven rare Monks is under the direct influence of one of the Sha (of which there appears to be seven in the lore).

Reflecting further, a good number of the souls bound to the various Mogu constructs are probably pandaren.

Thousands of years of dealing with the Mantid, Sha, and Mogul isn't enough trauma to create a "bad" faction of Pandaren? Come on, I don't buy that.

The Mogu, as far as I can gather, were nothing more than bandits since their empire fell. Not a significant source of trauma.
The Mantid attacks happened like clockwork, allowing for the defenders to mentally prepare for the horrors of combat. Plus the survivors could look forward to a lifetime of relative peace afterward, plenty of time to recover.
The Sha were suppressed. The rare individual who fell was likely taken care of quickly by the Shado Pan, nipping the problem in the bud.

And once again, due to isolation, there was no one to form cults around. No Legion, no Lich King, no "friendly" old gods. There are bad Pandarens, after all, Madam Goya's stolen merchandise doesn't steal itself. It's just that Pandaren only have mundane bad apples, the kind generally below the notice of god-killing adventurers like us.

The pandaren theme is showing a race who are perhaps the most emotionally advance race on pandaria. They don't allow themselves to give into primative states of negative emotions. We have seens examples of this happening and the results of such things, so the pandaren train themselves to rise above and not give into such states.

So, things like negative conflict, infused with doubt, anger, fear, well you know what the results would be. And thats what war does to people.

You missed the part where the mantid swarm every century is what makes pandaren realise how fleeting life is and how they need to enjoy the time they have being alive, didn't you?
They haven't dealt with the Mogu in any capacity beyond street crime in 12000 years and the Sha are why the Pandaren have learned to *control* their emotions. So everything you mentioned does not create a bunch of wrist-cutting maniacal pandaren hellbent on destroying the world like it does every other race. And it should stay that way.

The continent did not go boom from all these wars of other races in it. Does sha only care about the pandaren's feelings? And from quests pandaren basicly do not really seem very different from other races. They send you to kill their enemies, hunt many beasts.
You don't need war to give into greed, doubt, anger, fear.

And all pandaren are perfectly successful at that? Why?

the pandaren are not perfect. they are just too lazy to try taking over the world. they'd rather sit down, have a beer, eat a lot than take a nap.
Warlorcs of Draenorc made me quit. You can't have my stuff.

The Sha are the very reason we don't have one. Mogu only very recently came back in force, and Mantid have been entirely predictable for 12 millenia. So, no, not enough trauma. Next to no trauma, in fact.

They don't need to. Just successful enough to not let the big ones out.

Also, war isn't necessarily emotionally charged. Pandaren fight when they must, Horde and Alliance fight because they want to.

Typically Pandaren only go bad when under Sha control, the Shado-pan monestary is a prime example of this where the leader thanks to his xenophobia and negative impression of us and our "race war" comes to release and embody the Sha of hatred.
