My First Build, looking for suggestions.

I am getting ready to build my first gaming comp in the next week or so, and I am very new at this so I'm looking to make sure all my components are compatible and that the machine will be efficient and powerful. I can't post links yet...so I apologize for the long list. This is a list of the primary components.

    CPU- AMD FX-4170 4.2GHz Quad-Core Socket AM3+ CPU with AMD Virtualization Technology - FD4170FRGUBOX

PSU- XFX Core Edition PRO650W (P1-650S-NLB9) 650W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

MoBo- ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard or ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

GPU- GIGABYTE GV-R787OC-2GD Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card (The 7850 and 7870 series come with free copies of Bioshock:Infinite and Tomb Raider, so Id really like to stick with these series)

Heatsink- Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan

    RAM- 8GB G.Skill DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz Ripjaw Series (9-9-9-24) Dual Channel kit F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL

HDD- Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB SATA III 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache Internal Desktop Hard Drive Bulk/OEM - WD1002FAEX

Sound Card- ASUS XONAR DG Headphone Amp & PCI 5.1 Audio Card

Case- Apevia X-TRP-GN X-TROOPER Series Green Metal ATX Mid Tower / Computer Case with Side Window

The main things Id like to know are:

    1. Will my CPU be able to push my GPU to its full potential?
    2. Will my PSU be sufficient to power all this+5 fans
    3. Will this machine perform well playing games such as WoW, SW:TOR, ESO (when released) Skyrim, Borderlands 2, BF3, etc.
    4. If I eventually want to take advantage of Crossfire and run dual GPU's does it have to be an identical card?
    5. Will everything fit sensibly in my case?
    6. (Bonus) Will this machine even touch the likes of a game such as Crysis 3?

I am completely open to suggestions and advice on how I could modify this machine to be more efficient, I might be able to extend my budget a little, but I cant have the price go up a lot. Thanks!

If you are going with AMD you should really be looking at the x3xx models, they are improved quite a bit from the older x1xx models.
    Intel i5-3570K @ 4.7GHz | MSI Z77 Mpower | Noctua NH-D14 | Corsair Vengeance LP White 1.35V 8GB 1600MHz
    Gigabyte GTX 670 OC Windforce 3X @ 1372/7604MHz | Corsair Force GT 120GB | Silverstone Fortress FT02 | Corsair VX450

How much is your budget. You don't really need a sound card unless you have a nice pair of headphones. I recently switched from AMD to Intel and it was a nice improvement.

Would an AMD FX-6300 6 core cpu be more suited for my setup? Not much more expensive I was just basing my choice off the 4.2 vs 3.5 factory clock speed, though they are both OC'able.
