Very good for Fire, good for Arcane but terrible for Frost.

4s is very short, 100% crit is very specific. Maybe it will change in 50% for 6s/8s.

If IB is up, that's a guaranteed crit pyroblast every time it procs
The ICD will be an important factor though

Another important thing to note is that the proc is 100% across LFR, Normal and Heroic, so hopefully the ICD is reduced between each one (or the primary stats substantially change, I haven't checked)

Depends if we get high enough Haste that it stops being the most valuable stat really, you might be able to get away with one of the other trinkets
There are five caster trinkets available. Four have heroic versions (one is from the raid rep and can't be upgraded to heroic, apparently) and one is the 100% crit trinket which is honestly awful for Frost because you have that on your spells anyway.
But that still leaves two trinkets that don't proc on dot ticks!

4 Seconds is way too short IMO.. Considering you can only get one or two spells off in that time. Even less if you spend a global on IF.

I would imagine that lei shen's trinket is actually very strong for arcane - as the amount of crit it will give is huge.

If your arcane, the proc is worth about 80% chance to crit in crit rating while in fire, its only worth about 50% chance to crit in crit rating. it will be playstyle dependent for sure, but I would not be surprised if lei shen's trinket ends up stronger for arcane then it does for fire.

and at the end of the day, the ICD will be the determining factor here.

The hit/int trinket seems awesome at first, but you would need to wait for 10 seconds from proc to pop your cd's and that on start feels really horrible as it will prolly have 10-15% proc rate again so as arcane your might get owned more times than u think, most procs still last only 10-15 secs and this will only start to own after 10 seconds.. And then there is the ammount of Hit on it.. And hit as we all know is the lackluster stat to have in gear after first raid tier.

And those who dont know why Hit is so bad.. Here's a little recap. So at 535 ilevel(average) we have around 15k secondary stat budged to throw around(+/- 1.5k depending on what and how we gem). Now 5100 of that is going to be Hit. After that point.. Hit ratings value plummits, to that of 0. Now IF you have a gear with +Hit on it, it doesnt mean its going to be really awesome boost of dps. What it actually does.. is that it frees your reforges that are currently to +hit rating and as we know we allways should try to reforge the worst stats to hit rating, so you will free up 1500-1657(minus reforge) of your worse stats with that trinket. Now thats not to say it might not be a dps increase, but sounds a lot less awesome now doesnt it^^

Yes, but as fire you are allmost quaranteed a HS proc when that trinket procs, maybe even 2 if we play it right, 100% crit is very strong for fire

As Frost, I think the trinket with the proc on crit will be BiS. But it need to be checked.
Maybe, witha trinket like this, crit scaling will be better for Frost. And it end up with Crit > Haste before the cap.

Well ideally it would need to be comparable to 8k int for 10 secs with 45 sec icd(would think at least that the trinkets are going to roll with that possibly even 50 secs)..

I am arcane all the way, and I LOVE it. I dont look at it as a int with crit proc. I look at it as a int with a double damage proc. I have the 522 version, and procs every 20-35 sec.

With an RPPM of 0.525 x 0.9456 (item lvl 522) = 0.49644 ---> approx. 1 proc per 2 min (without haste, with 15-20% haste round about 100s), how do you let it proc every 20-35s? -.-
