Patch 5.2 pre download

I just logged out and opened the launcher and it says it is downloading data for a new patch, does anyone know if it's 5.2 data?

Even if it is 5.2 data coming in via the Launcher it's still a long ways away.

Well it says downloading data for an upcoming patch, so I would assume upcoming patch would mean 5.2 since it's the next one, but that's just the logic talking.

Yep, atleast 1 month I would say. But I guess they prep some so you won't have to download forever.

Downloading for me too. 1.2 gig. I'm in europe, so I assume US has it as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if this coming Tues (12th) or the following Tues (19th) we get a 2 week patch warning for Feb 26th or March 5th - they seem to want to get this patch out sooner rather than later. Given the IoT stage testing schedule, I'd say they are shooting internally for a March 5th release. I also have a feeling we are going to have ALL versions of the raid unlock in 4 subsections over the course of the first 4 to 5 weeks of the patch, meaning that they have a little extra time to test and patch 3/4 of the raid after launch.

I imagine it's just pre-pushing completed assets. Probably artwork. Textures, models, etc. Stuff that won't change over the remainder of testing. Patch could still very well be over a month away.

Mine never showed the progress bar, only the "Downloading data....." part..

Probably just some finished models, like the new frog.

5.2 is still weeks away. It won't launch until after the island is fully tested, so at least 2 weeks.

Because the person who posted the pic hadn't downloaded the latest patch 5.1.0a yet, and you probably had.

I think you can click on "info" then "connection info" on the launcher.
Look at the "completed", it shows the % completed and Gb.
