489 il weapon

I recently got the il 489 starshatter on my frost dk. Would it be worth it to upgrade it before the new patch or is there a more viable weapon in the new patch lfr that would out do it. My guild is only on will the emperor in msv as far as raiding. Thank you!

considering that item upgrades will be gone next patch, and that valour will reset, there's no reason to not upgrade it this patch

^Pmuch. Any piece you have from msv norm right now will be possible to replace from lfr in 5.2 (if you're lucky) so you might as well upgrade the part that'll benefit you the most until then, which almost certainly is your wep.
