    - H77 based motherboard can not be overclocked, so you wont get benefit from the OC-unlocked i5-3570K
    - 60GB SSD is too tiny for even stamp collection, get 120GB minimum, preferably 240-250GB

    1) The Motherboard does not support overclocking. Either get a Z77 motherboard, or drop the CPU to an i5-3350P or 3470, and get a B75 board.
    2) He won't need 16gb ram. Get 8gb (2x4) of DDR3-1600
    3) Not a huge fan of A-DATA personally, I'd recommend a Samsung 830 or 840. ALso, 64gb is too small. You pretty much cannot fit Windows and Games + whatever on 64 anymore. Get at LEAST a 128.
    4) While the Rosewill Capstone is a good PSU, there are just as good power supplies for much cheaper. Anything over Bronze certification is usually a waste of money.

Same price, bigger SSD, 3rd party cooler for OC'ing the 3570K. If you do not plan to overclock. Go with i5-3470/B75 board, and it comes out about $90 cheaper.

Out of curiosity, what do you have now that does 'frequent video encoding and 3d modeling'... Is your current system lacking in that area right now?

As previously noted, the CPU and MoBo do not really match. It will work, but if you do not want to OC you could get a cheaper CPU and if you do you would need a different MoBo.

16GB of RAM is overkill, though it is cheap so if you can afford it go for it. You have 1333 Memory though, you should get 1600, not much price difference if any.

SSD is way too small, would go for at least a 128, as previously noted by another poster. I would also recommend a different brand, Samsung 830 or 840 Pro. For the regular HD, what are you going to do with 2TB of storage on the other drive, so you really need that much? If not you could save some money by getting a 500GB or 1TB.

Video Card, the 660 is a great card, but I would opt for the ti version if you can afford it.

Case is prety much a personal preference thing so knock yourself out there.

That is a great PSU but unless you really really need to Gold rating, you are paying more there than you need to.

I would make these changes, which is nearly everything.

The case you can change to whatever you like its just my personal preference, threw on an OS because couldn't tell if you needed one (if you don't thats 90 saved).

Now days I wouldn't go for a 660t anymore the 7870 xt overclocked runs 7950 performance (if your a silicon lottery winner your looking at closer to 7970 performance) and comes in cheaper, why would you ever get a 660ti now unless they drop the price of them.

Well, he didn't give a lot of information to go on but some games heavily prefer nVidia over AMD. Seeing as he had already selected nVidia and some people prefer one over the other, I stuck with what brand he had chosen and made it a little better.

I went for 660ti for three reasons:

    1) GPU overclocking lottery is not a priority for me.
    2) All Blizzard games run better on Nvidia cards and I'm playing mostly WoW at the moment.
    3) GTX600's have 2xDVI+HDMI+DP, you can not use AMD's 7K card with three displays without one of those being DP.

Third point was the dealbreaker because I need to plug in two older DVI connected monitors and TV at the same time, and with AMD card I can't.

If a $10 adaptor is the deal breaking in a $700 display set up (gpu + 3 monitors) I question your decision making process.
You don't need to be a silicon lottery winner for it to out perform a 660ti the silicon lottery comes in if your looking to push 7970 performance out of a $240 card.
Finally if your running a tri screen set up you really shouldn't be looking at nvidia simply due to the 2gb vram and 256bit membus.

Off topic but needed to be said.

$30 adapter in US, $50 in EU where I live, so I question your math and exaggerations. I bought graphics card as an upgrade ~4 months ago not whole new computer, so the extra cost would have been rather high forcing to go down to R7870 or even R7850 class to stay in budget.

Also, extra crap is extra crap which means extra time and money wasted especially when things aren't on stock.

Not playing on three screens, so irrelevant.
