If you had the option to choose the Alpha Worgen model, would you?

For a female toon? In a heartbeat, alpha model was much better even if it needed a few touch-ups.
For a male toon? I prefer what we have on live.

The female alpha worgen model is definitely better looking than the one on live. However, the male live model looks far better than the alpha. The alpha male model made them look almost feline...although they did look a bit more majestic, they look much more feral and badass on live now than they did in alpha.

In my personal opinion, the Alpha model speaks more "wolf" like while the live model appears more like a dog than wolf. If that makes any at all sense.

This has already been talked to death about.

Btw the current model looks fine. Fixing ones like the human model are a much much higher priority.

I disagree. Bug fixes >>>>> aesthetics. And the current female worgen is bugged to hell.

Anyway, to fix a good 95% of the bugs, all they need to do is add back in the alpha model as an option. That's it. It would take a few afternoons of coding, probably less. They already have the model. All they need to do is apply the dance and throw it into the game.

Sorry, I didn't state exactly what I meant.
As extra options I would definitely see this as a future possibility. I know though that some people want to completely change the look of them and revert them back to the alpha (considering that people have already spent money changing to Worgen etc, this 100% won't happen without causing massive outcry). I realise that was not the point of this thread,, I posted about another thing without stating what I meant.

I think they have same problem that many things in Cata had, they've been made too hastily. Like they realized that they have no time to make things right, "lets manage something and move best resources to MoP production."

First of all, dogs are domestic subspecies of wolf and dogs have quiet many forms of skulls. Live worgen models skull does not represent very well real dogs, neither wolfs.

Actually beta model skull is quiet similar to my own dog, which is cockerspaniel.

Yes, but only with a more refined model. The beta's eyes are painted on like the original low poly models used in the older races. I still think they should scrap the whole model and remake it very differently because both models look like skinny humans with dog heads.

Yes, absolutely yes and, definetely, YES. I would choose the Alpha model for my alt warrior (which is quite abandoned since a lot of time :/).
