    I got my legendary meta gem last night after raid, so I haven't been able to test it properly. From just some basic tests on the target dummy, it was accounting for ~5% of my damage. Can't wait to try it out on raid soon and have some logs.

    Sure it's always smarter to use a Heroic TF piece over anything else but TF gear is pretty random. I mean all I have seen is the Gloves since I've been raiding and I use them because they are better than last tier heroic. It's practically impossible to make a full BiS using TF gear as you have no idea if you will ever see that TF item.

    The meta is indeed doing about 5% of our total damage as noted by others (log from Magaera kill). The total damage done by it was almost identical to that of our enha shaman - and while one log is not much of a proof, it gives me hope that the procs will be rather balanced across the specs.

    I didn't really notice much difference in stack generation between single-target and aoe phases, but that's expected with RPPM. Also, the stacks of the buff do not have a duration and are not cleared while changing zones or engaging bosses.

    My hope for WW has increased if the front page of mmo turns out as a buff and not a tooltip data mining error.

    As I pointed out in the main WW thread, this basically brings us back to the amount of damage we were doing on the first day or two of 5.2.

    Close but not that much, If you recall we got a 20% stance nerf the day after 5.2 and we got a what 5% RSK nerf? or was it 10% I completely lost track of the amount of nerfs we got. It currently has us @ 10% I do believe the 10% will help yes but 5.3 is too late we are in dire need now not in however long 5.3 takes to come out.

    any chance you could update this using Heroic tier please? i was going to sim it vs my bis list to see which comes out top, since im unsure atm. but if the stat ratings are differant due to the higher item level its not a very fair test.

    Again as I pointed out, not counting the Tigereye Brew

    5.1 = 100% * 1.2 (Tiger Stance) * 1.15 (RSK) = 138%
    5.2 day 1 = 100% * 1.2 * 1.1 = 132%
    5.2 post-day 1 = 100% * 1.1 * 1.1 = 121%
    5.3 = 100% * 1.1 * 1.2 = 132%

    5.3 = 100% * 1.1 * 1.2 = 132%
    This is incorrect, since RSK buff only applies to Special Abilities whereas the Stance buff applies to all damage done.

    Assuming our auto-attack damage is 20% of our total damage, the correct calculation would be:

    5.1 = 100% * 1.2 (Tiger Stance) * (1 + (0.15 * 0.8)) (RSK) = 134,4%
    5.2 day 1 = 100% * 1.2 * (1 + (0.1 * 0.8)) = 129,6%
    5.2 post-day 1 = 100% * 1.1 * (1 + (0.1 * 0.8)) = 118,8%
    5.3 = 100% * 1.1 * (1 + (0.2 * 0.8)) = 127,6%

    I was being general about that. Still as a very BROAD example; say the following takes place

    RSK - 20 attacks - each does 100,000 damage base
    BoK - 20 attacks - each does 100,000 damage base
    Jab - 20 attacks - each does 50,000 damage base
    TP - 5 attacks - each does 50,000 damage base
    Melee - 35 attacks - each does 40,000 damage base

    Baseline, this person would do 6,650,000 damage (RSK, BoK, Jab, and TP benefit from RSK damage boost while White Attacks do not)

    Based on 5.1 Damage, he would have done 8,925,000 or 134.2105% damage increase
    5.2 day 1 - 8,610,000 or 129.4736842% damage increase
    5.2 after day 1 - 8,032,500 or 120.7894737% damage increase
    5.3 - 8,610,000 or 129.4736842%

    Yes this example is very generic but I should at least show that we are basically getting reverted back to 5.2's day 1 damage.

    The problem with your example is not that it is generic, but that your calculations are wrong.
    5.3 damage is 5250000*1.2*1.1 + 1400000*1.1 (not *1.2) = 8470000 or 127.3%

    ****en A....I hate it when I have my cell "$" info wrong....Your right.

    5.1 = 8925000 or 134.2105263%
    5.2 Day 1 - 8610000 or 129.4736842%
    5.2 After - 7892500 or 118.6842105%
    5.3 - 8470000 or 127.3684211%

    Still the point is that we are just about where we were when 5.2 first came out. It's a buff no matter how you look at it.

    Not sure if you added this into your calculation, but RSK debuff also doesn't buff tiger strikes damage. Wasn't sure if it did or not so just got done testing it myself while naked. Max hit of 50 with pure white attacks as well as tiger strikes.

    Stat distribution is slightly lower but basically the same

    5.1 - 8880000; 133.5338346%
    5.2 Day 1 - 8580000; 129.0225564%
    5.2 After - 7865000; 118.2706767%
    5.3 - 8415000; 126.5413534%

    But overall they are just halfing the nerf from 5.1 to live

    ---------- Post added 2013-04-12 at 01:23 PM ----------

    Well, GC confirmed that the change is intended...for now.

    https://twitter.com/Ghostcrawler/sta...57810993635331
    Buffs in 5.3 to Ret, Enhance, WW, Feral, hunters and mage AE are real, at least for now. Mana pool changes are not.

    I would suggest posting that in Fix my DPS thread for some better responses however at first look you are using a pure Agi build which while it should be fine for now you are more like to gain more out of secondary stat gems and hitting some of those socket bonuses.

    As far as Haste goes like I tell anyone else it's a play style preference I don't like higher Haste values but if you like the way it plays that is all that matters.

    Hey Reqfu, did you consider ra-den loot for your BiS list? If this was discussed and I overlooked it,.. just ignore this post :P

    As far as I remember, an early version of the first post had thunderforged items listed, including the ones from Ra-Den. I assume they were removed to simplify the BiS list, and because most players will not get them while they're still relevant.

    But if you're really wondering, here's my take on the fallen titan's drops. I will assume that you're using Roro, since it's a part of BiS list; I will also assume that we're comparing to other ilvl541 items.

    Grey Wind Mistcloak: compared to the Ji-Kun cloak, this is slightly better as you get a yellow socket with haste bonus instead of blue with agility. Mostly irrelevant though, since we'll be using the cloak from Wrathion questline anyway.
    Chestguard of Coruscating Blades: 3 red sockets look delicious at first sight, but this chest actually provides less secondary stats than Fusion Slasher Chestguard. Might be worth it if you're not using Rune for whatever reason.
    Strap of Murderous Strikes: Crit, mastery, 2 sockets and agility bonus. BiS if you don't need the expertise from Ji-Kun belt and can handle hit from 2 blue sockets as it provides more yellow stats.
    Cosmicfire Legwraps: Decent if you need expertise (which is unlikely), but the legs from Dark Animus will provide more secondary stats.
    Twist-Toe Tabi: Spurs of Storm Cavalry from Iron Qon have way more yellow stats, so pass.
    Ra-den's Swift Seal: has hit, which already disqualifies it in my book. In addition to that, both other options have more secondaries.

    To sum up: belt is good, cloak is situational, for the rest - there are better options.

    Well Raffy is trying to get Zephyrus version 12 soon (hopefully tonight) and with it he would be providing SimC export. This means we can have a definitive BiS list that we can gather. SimC themselves use Ra-den and Heroic Thunderforged where possible. It's just they are not set up correctly for RoRO. 10990 Mastery, 10767 Haste, 4393 Crit....I SERIOUSLY doubt that would provide the best possible dps.

    HI there Monks ! I was just wondering what was the best trinket to use for me atm to go along the Rune of Reorigination :

    I have the Renataki's Soul Charm in Heroic version + 2/2 upgrade, and I also have the Bad Juju normal thunderforged that I can upgrade 2/2.

    Since the bis list shows the Bad Juju I'm wondering whether or not I have to change trinket. I'm guessing the Soul charm is slightly better due to the Ilevel gap but I'll not loose anything for asking here =)

    Here's my armory if that can help: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/characte...%C3%B5h/simple

    Don't pay attention to my glyphs and talents I did some PvP yesterday and forgot to change them back x)
