It's not really naming and shaming since you're showing off his cool mount and not, like, making fun of him.... but just to be on the safe side please black out his name since it's not you and he might not want people oogling him online

There's been threads talking about this, and it seems that a week or two ago Blizzard did a secret hotfix that made Galleon and Sha finally drop the mounts.

Pretty sure i saw a guy on this mount on Stormrage on the first time Galleon was killed.

If you look on WoWhead, there has been a picture of it for quite some months now, thus meaning that it exists

Thus meaning that screenshots(which can be obtained numerous ways including during ptr and beta testing) existed. The mount was NOT dropping in game until the hotfix a week ago. That's what those rolling restarts were.

Just because your server has seen it does not mean the rest of the WoW player base has. Regardless of wether we thought it existed or not, calling us stupid because you have seen it and we haven't is pointless.

Exist don't meanm that it droped. Not a single screenshot with a name nor armory link was found as a proof a existing on a live realm. It could be (and was) screenshoted on a private server on every old "in game" screen.

I won't debate it again, but it is pretty clear that after the uproar on the forums blizzard let it finaly drop now. It could even be a blizzard test to watch how long it will take to the community to finally understand when a "super low droprate" is in reality non-existent (some kind of tin foil theory, I agree. But it could help them to see the limit players will endure with super low drop chance).

That's a damn nice looking mount.

The face is ugly though lol. Not like "ugly, fix it" but just an ugly expression.
