Amber Shaper 10 Man, Living amber bug?

    Hi,

So we have been on Amber shaper for a while now, killed it once but having problems again now. The main problem being that the living amber's are being healed by something. Iv searched forums everywhere and haven't got an answer apart from "your eyesight is bad" but this inst the case. The adds die about 30 yards away from each other yet still heal. Are we missing a mechanic somewhere or is the fight bugging? Everybody in the raid has seen this happen and its really starting to get annoying. The adds are overwhelming us and thus killing us. Anybody had the same problem or could help?

    Thanks, Trevilos.

do you have any video evidence of this, or at least a combat log entry?

If they sit in pools, they heal. Tell people to move away from them.

The dungeon journal clearly states that any living amber killed will heal any living amber within 8 yards for 40% of its max hp.

    edit:
To be exact, you're simply not saying the truh with the "30 yards" apart.

The OP / quote clearly states that any living amber is killed about 30 yards away from the others.

To the OP: I've never seen that before, the only mechanic that heals them is the one mentioned in the journal... so unfortunately I'm going with the "bad eyesight"-statement (and I don't mean that in any negative way, people tend to focus on many different things when progressing, no matter the content).

Maybe it helps if you record your progress and watch at the footage afterwards.

They are healed either when standing in pools (even those from amber scalpel) or dying in 8 yards range to each other.
We usually don´t spend much attention to them. Either our Warlock or our Shadowpriest are enough to keep them under controle. Even if they heal each other sometimes. Tell someone to focus on them, dotclasses prefered, and you should be save.
