Guild Wars 2 Shuts down my PC

I've been reading a lot forums and sadly a lot of people have this issue.... but with laptops. So I don't really know the cause of this. I think it's an overheating problem from my CPU but I'm not sure if it could be from my motherboard like I've read.
    I have a desktop, but I didn't build it. It's a stock HP.

    Operating System:Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
    RAM (Memory) : 4GB
CPU: AMD Athlon (tm) II X2 250 Processor 3GHz
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTS 250 512Mb

Besides the GPU, everything else is stock. I just cleaned my desktop from dust, well not thoroughly, but enough to be clean. About 2 hours ago I changed the thermal compound on the CPU and I used Artic Silver 5, to see if it would work. It kinda worked, it expanded my play time from 2 minutes to 5minutes I don't know what could be the problem:/ GPU stays around 50-65c and before I changed the thermal compound, my CPU went up to 40c before it completely shut down on me. :/ I tried to do as much research as I could before actually making an account and asking myself but I can't find anything that has worked.. Can anyone help??? :/

Perhaps your PSU is running faulty. Does it shut down or reboot?

It completely shuts down on me, like someone just unplugged it from the outlet

You need to replace the PSU, your powersupply have gotten worse by time and 250 is very low for the GTS 250.
Perhaps you got some money to spare then I can look for a cheap powersupply for you ?

Or if the warranty of the desktop is still running, then i suggest calling HP.

If you help me look for one that'll be awesome, man. I don't have a warranty on it this desktop.
I'm still a newby with computers, I got the basics down, PSU is where I get confused with most of the time lol

    Sweet
Ok so, I downloaded CPUID Hardware Monitor to keep track of my CPU temps and I noticed that Pegatron Corporation 2A99 is on there, I think that's my motherboard, but they both jump to around 40C when playing GW2. Is that healthy? or do I need to reduce the temps on them?

That looks pretty normal, although could be lower if it werent for those awful HP cases.
