The best starting team is clearly Fennekin, Charmander, Torchic, Litleo, Fletchling, and Bidoof. Most OP of OP teams.

I don't hate it, I just dislike it because it seems to be portrayed as pretty boys and as a dominant and a submissive relationship, which doesn't appeal to me, at all.
Meh. Even so, I don't exactly like to start watching things based on the character's/s' sexuality. Not a good premise for me to start watching a show I think.

It's not as much that it's unrealistic. Trust me, most of the stuff I usually look at is extremely unrealistic and/or unusual. Most people I talk to can vouch for that.
It's more how men are portrayed in such... media. Don't like it too much.
