yes the game has some catchy phrases and a weird setup overall, but this doesnt make a good game ~~ introduction of the workshop?

what about the games wich made the invention oftower defense and dota even possible? thats even a way bigger achievement than some puny workshop Oo

Ridiculous list imo. A lot of the games on there were ones that I got a refund at gamestop for the next day because they were so disappointing i.e. Gears of War 2 . So many missing games as well, how can Halo 4 be the halo game mentioned when none of the others were? I feel like the list was compiled by someone who liked all of these games but couldn't find the right order to put them in and just mashed them into a list.

However I guess the topic of discussion is more about if WoW deserves number 10 which I believe it does. No game has really had such a cultural impact on many levels including e-sports, fantasy, mainstream media etc. especially when you take into account how old the game is and how popular it is for that age.

yeah, wow pretty much revolutionized the whole mmo-market and made it accessible for the masses. i would have never touched a mmo if it wasnt for wow.

Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time, Halo CE and 2, Pokemon Red & Blue, Goldeneye, Mario 64, FF7 and the list goes on they missed so many good games and included games such as H4, black&white, a link to the past(deserved a spot) whilst ignoring games in their own series that blew them away in terms of popularity and/or in terms of changing their entire market at the time exceptionally awful list

What I don't understand is that there are two Final Fantasies on the list: VI and X. VI was great, yes, and it deserves the spot. But X? Really? Pfft, there are lots of better FF's out there, like VII, VIII and IX. (Yeah, yeah, yeah, VII is overhyped, yada yada yada...)

I was also surprised that Skyrim was the only ES game on the list. Morrowind, anyone?

And you had all the Pokémon games out there to put on the list - and you put Black & White... Don't get me wrong, love them, I really do, but shouldn't RBY/GSC rate higher if not for any other thing than pure nostalgic value?

But WoW did good enough, I think. No surprise there. Although, on my personal list it would've at least ranked in the top 5.

Eh, OoT was alright. But IMO it doesn't age as well as some of the later Zelda games. Only so many times you can slay Ganon with the Biggoron's sword, even in Master Quest on the 3DS.

WoW was one of the final 3 for Game of the Decade at the awards last year. It'll probably still be over 6 million players when it hits 10 years old, thereby still the largest pay-to-play MMO ever even after a decade.

Maybe when it came out, changing way MMO's are played and all but saying that its 10th best game ever out of tens of thousands good games in last 30 years? I wouldnt really go that far personally.

Guess they wanted to shake it up a bit - most top 10s look so similiar nowdays. Ocarina of time, mario 64, mario 3, Shadow of colossus, god of war...those are usually mostly there on every list. But for reason most of the time

Dead Space 1 has got to be one of the most annyoing games I've ever played. The camera angle is so freakisly annoying, and the story is terrible... Oh noes space-zombies! How very innovative.

Sure Bioshock might not have the best gameplay, but the story is amazing.

No but thanks for telling me what you think I am feeling. WW was a great game but to consider it to be the best of the 3D LoZ's when OoT had a better story and started things off or Skyward Sword had better graphics isn't nostalgia it's just this particular website being unfamiliar with the series.
