Oops, phrased what I was trying to say incorrectly, meant to say "by that logic stormbolt is a ranged attack".

His logic was that heroic throw was made a ranged attack so that it wouldn't reset the swing timer. Storm bolt doesn't reset the swing timer. Therefore storm bolt must be a ranged attack. And yet it procs mastery, while being more similar to heroic throw than any other warrior ability. So his condescending "but of course heroic throw can't proc mastery" comment can't just be assumed because blizzard said something ages ago about changing its ability classification, it has to actually be tested.
