Dk dmg wasn't really that bad to begin with and now it looks as though it will be significantly better, especially Unholy. Unholy appears to be viable in PVP again.

I don't think we were that far behind in dps were we?
probably won't make it live, at least not all of it

That seems excessive for frost. Unholy was the spec that I thought needed more work.

Funny, I was in a BG today and died to another DK, but I managed to get a frost fever on him right before I died. I sat at my computer thinking in my head "Kill him...KILL HIM DAMNIT!" but nope... he just sat at 1% for a while then it wore off... now this disease buff, hooray! It's like 3.0 all over again!

Personally, if this changes are kept.. i'm cool with our healing sucking.

Considering how hard Unholy Diseases hit already, the +30% buff is going to push them to some impressive heights.

Scourge Strike probably should have seen some more damage increases though, 7.7% is a start.

There is no way disease dmg increase is gonna make it live, but scourge strike needed to be looked at, good buffs.

Asking a question to you dks.

Did frost really need a dps buff? I don't see them lagging behind.

No, but perhaps a tiny buff

Death Knights did need a smidge of a push, however bear in mind in the same thread GC says he hasn't done an AOE damage pass yet, and these and all the other buffs/nerfs were Single-Target adjustments.

Expect to see Howling Blast's AOE component adjusted when that rolls around.

Lots of other buffs for other classes so this might amount to a small buff in total, which would be about right

Frost really don't need a buff. We're some of the best damagedealers on movementfights, have great aoe and are good in pvp(though survivability is a bit weak).

Unholy could use the disease buff for sure, and scourge strike too.

    This.

Look at Destro Warlocks, for example. We're going to maybe get nudged up one place above where we were, while some specs like Retributio and Destro will probably climb two or three as they continue to tweak things.

What's the point of this? DKs damage were just fine and quite ahead of the pack actually.
Now we'll just become THAT FOTM melee class and we'll get nerfed to the ground at some point during the progress.

    Fucking hell.

DKs need more survivability, utility, movement, QoL and an entire revamp of Unholy rather than pure PLUS or MINUS percent damage each patch.
